The more I was around you the more
I doubted you were just a cat Oh sure you had whiskers
and a tail, 0so I called you that, But your
spirit was far too wise and you were just too smart,
you had a load of brains to go with all that heart.
I remember how I amazed I was when you first
jumped in the sink holding out your paw and
like a little lady, gave yourself a drink.
And it was more than coincidence when I went to
the bathroom, guess who was there.. For wherever
I looked you were right there, a Sacred Birmin..
Glorious, pure, and ever so sweet…
I miss you my little blue eyes, we are
trying to heal and start anew, but there are so
many empty spaces now that once were filled by the
magic of you……… We will always love and miss you
Mickey (blue eyes)

Basso, you
were only in this life for 9 short months, but your
huge heart and loving way enriched all our lives. It
was such a pleasure knowing you, and we'd do it all
over again just to share some time, no matter how brief,
with you. We love you so much, and miss you with all
of our hearts. You weren't supposed to go like this,
and we vow to do whatever we can to further the fight
against FIP so that one day no one else will have to
feel the pain we are feeling. |
You
will always live in our hearts and memories. See you
at the Rainbow Bridge our little fuzzy boy...

I lost my beautiful calico cat Sassy
to FIP on August 13, 2002. She was the love of my life
and I will miss her terribly. Words cannot express the
loss I feel; she was only two years old.
I adopted her from a shelter in December, 2000. Sassy
taught me a lot about cats; I will never forget her.

Fiona was to be the foundation
queen of my cattery. The judges loved her, so I campaigned
her to allow her to go as far as possible. Through flights,
security checks, car rides, new places and new people,
she was always curious, trusting and loving. She loved
to play extreme fetch, vaulting over the bed in the
hotel room instead of running around it. Nothing made
her eyes light up as much as a freshly crumpled up ball
of paper! She was a great ambassador for her breed,
impressing people everywhere with her charm and sweetness.
I'll always love you Fiona, and you'll always be the
Queen of Barashta. |

Coco was a sweet male blue shorthair
who only enjoyed 3 months with me. He was loved dearly
and missed terribly and I pray his sister will survive.
So short a life but so giving during it, he will be
sadly missed.

Today I had to say goodbye
to my little red companion Simba. He died of FIP at
the age of 1,5 years. I hope he is welcomed by his little
brother and sister, Rooie Bertje and Tails, his grandmother
Monky and great- grandmother Arie and so many other
feline friends. During the weeks he was ill I grew even
more attached to this brave little hero. We both hated
the medication he had to take ... and what for? We fought
the battle together but lost. His blood is at the University
now and I hope very soon they will find a cure for this
terrible disease. |
For all the
furry feline friends that died from FIP, cars and other
diseases I hope they are in a better place now.

Your favorite chair is vacant now...
No eager purrs to greet me. No softly padded paws
to run Ecstatically to meet me. No coaxing rubs,
no sweet meows Will say it's time for feeding.
I've put away your bowl, and all The things you
won't be needing; But I will miss you little buddy,
For I could never measure The happiness you brought
me, The comfort and the pleasure. And since
God put you here to share In earthly joy and sorrow;
I'm sure there'll be a place for you In Heaven's
bright tomorrow... |

It
looked as though Pudge (left) would outgrow white sister
Morgan (right) in this photo. These cats were supposed
to be temporary as my husband and I were raising them
for the "no kill cat shelter" we volunteered
for. When a friend of ours adopted Morgan - I cried
all night that I had to return Pudge. I showed up for
him at the shelter the next day with cat carrier in
hand. I had to have him. |
Pudge
immediately started showing signs of weakness and swelling
of the stomach. We spent all we had trying to get a
different diagnosis for something I had never heard
of. We knew when the time was right to let him go -
at just four months of age, we had to say goodbye. We
still miss you Pudge and dedicate our lives to taking
care of the little ones.

Nike was only 4 months old when he passed
away from FIP. He touched our lives with more love and
happiness than we could ever have imagined. He was our
precious little angel who we miss greatly but will forever
be in our hearts.
We love you Nike! Mom & Dad
